David T. Morgan

–David T. Morgan, was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on January 5, 1937, attended the Fayetteville city schools.  He earned a BA degree from Baylor University (1959) and M. A. (1964) and Ph.D. (1968) degrees from the University of North Carolina a Chapel Hill.  As a professional historian he taught in the college classroom for 33 years at Patrick Henry College, Texas A&M University, and the University of Montevallo.  He was also a visiting professor at Rhode Island College, Temple University Japan, and Beloit College.  He is the author of numerous books and many articles and biographical sketches in scholarly publications.  Married to Judith McIntosh for over 50 years, he resides with her in Alabama.  They have two children, Cindi and Brian, and two grandchildren.  David Matthew Reeves and Riley Paige Morgan.
